All weekend I have searched for words perfect enough to describe the way it feels to walk away from a place, a person, a life that was so beautifully imperfect. From the bottom of my heart, I am thankful for those who taught what it means to love, and what it means to be a part of something so much bigger than oneself. I am grateful for the hands that have held mine, for the arms that have embraced me, for the smiles so generously bestowed upon me. I am grateful, above all, that I am able to walk away with a smile, knowing that the sweet tears I cry are soaked with memories I will forever cherish. I owe my happiness to you, Mount Holyoke, and I thank you for teaching me that it is 100% normal to be perfectly imperfect.
